Pu'er tea, black tea
(non-fermented)
ORIGIN
Nannuo Mountain, Menghai County,
Yunnan Province, China
HARVESTED March 2002
CHARACTER
Collected and prized for its intensity and excellent aging potential.
Eight years of aging has tempered its robust nature to create an approachable, vibrant character. Big structure that shows clarity and smoothness. An initial smokiness gives way to new wood, ripe plum, and hints of vanilla. Fresh sweet notes of Xinjiang melons emerge in a long aftertaste.
Highly recommended for collectors.
